Light-O-Rama general warranties

Light-O-Rama warrants unconditionally, to the first end-user all hardware and parts thereof against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase.  Certain ShowTime Pro products (LOR160xxx, LOR800W, etc.) are warranted, to the first end-user, for two years from the date of purchase.  Light-O-Rama will remedy any defect via repair or replacement during this period.  The end-user must contact the Light-O-Rama helpdesk to obtain an RMA number and ship the defective unit back to Light-O-Rama.  When received, the unit will be repaired or replaced at Light-O-Rama’s discretion and returned.  The end-user is responsible for shipping charges.

Light-O-Rama warrants that its software products will perform in substantial accordance with Light-O-Rama’s published documentation.  Light-O-Rama does not warrant that its software will be error free.

Any undamaged Light-O-Rama hardware devices may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the price paid for the product returned, not including shipping charges.  End-user does not have to keep products selected by mistake or that are not satisfactory.

Warranty exclusions

Light-O-Rama will not be liable for product failures caused by misuse, faulty installation, failure to follow product instructions or environmental specifications, negligence, accident or product modification.  This includes damage from moisture, lightening strikes or improper voltage being applied to the unit.

Emergency replacement

Emergency replacement where a new unit is shipped before the returned unit is received can be accommodated when practical, but a credit card must be supplied.  The credit card will be charged for the new unit if Light-O-Rama does not receive the returned unit within 10 days or the returned unit’s failure falls under the “Warranty exclusions” above.  Contact the Light-O-Rama helpdesk to obtain more information.

General limitations

Light-O-Rama expressly disclaims any understandings, agreements, representations or warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, not specified by this warranty.

Under no circumstances will Light-O-Rama be liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or loss.  In no case shall Light-O-Rama’s liability exceed the purchase price of the defective product or service.

Unconditional lifetime replacement policy

Regardless of current end user, any Light-O-Rama hardware device that fails for any reason (e.g. eaten by dog, no longer like the color) can be replaced with the same or current equivalent unit for 60% of the current list price of the new unit.  The end-user is responsible for shipping the old unit back to Light-O-Rama and for the shipping costs of the new unit.  In the event that there is no current equivalent for an Light-O-Rama device, Light-O-Rama will make every attempt to work out an equitable solution. Light-O-Rama will also honor this policy for any other manufacturer’s device for which we currently have a comparable device.  Contact the Light-O-Rama helpdesk to obtain more information.

Out of warranty service
